Bamwise je šesteročlani bend iz Zagreba, kolaboracija petero glazbenika i VJ umjetnice koje je spojila zajednička ljubav prema elektroničkom dubu. U svom radu kombiniraju tri syntha, bubanj, bas, gitaru, vokale, jako puno efekata i video projekcije, a sve oko ideje da inspiriraju ljude da samostalno i odgovorno slušaju, razmišljaju i djeluju u svom životu. Bamwise kombiniraju “sintetičke” i “akustičke” elemente u jedan sirov i energičan zvuk, sa naglaskom na bubanj i bass kao osnovne elemente originalne dub reggae glazbe. Ovom prigodom premijerno predstavljamo singl Run From Sound uz prateći video spot. Uz singl dostupna je i dub verzija nazvana Run From Dub. Za miks obje verzije pjesme zaslužni su članovi benda Igor Ivanković i Robert Martinović. Mastering je odradio priznati techno producent Petar Dundov. Pjesma je uvod u nadolazeći album prvijenac predviđen za izlazak na jesen preko PDVa.
Bamwise is a 6-piece band from Zagreb. Collaboration between five musicians and a VJ artist brought together by mutual appreciation and love for electronically fueled dub music. They combine three synths, drums, bass, guitar, vocals, an array of sound effects and impressive visuals. The idea behind it all is to inspire people to think and listen, responsibly act in their lives. Bamwise use synthetic as well as acoustic elements to create an organic yet powerful sound, emphasising drums and bass as basic elements of the original dub reggae aesthetics. For this occasion, we are presenting their first single Run From Sound accompanied with the official video. There is also a dub version of the song available called Run From Dub. Mixing duties of the both versions were handled by band members Igor Ivanković and Robert Martinović. Mastering was done by renowned techno producer Petar Dundov. Song itself is a prelude for an upcoming full-length to be released in autumn via PDV.
