Blending hardcore, post-metal, and post-rock elements into a storm of emotions since 2010.

Liberec post-metal collective based on the traditions of Czech emocore bands such as Lvmen, Thema Eleven, Ravelin 7. Drom have been active on the scene since 2010 and have five split vinyls and four major studio recordings to their credit. The last one, entitled Pustina, will be released on Kabinet Records on September 6, 2024, and after six years will follow Tady bůh není!, which was awarded the Břitva prize for the best Czech hard rock record of 2018. For the album Nestor from 2012, the band was also nominated for an Angel in the genre category Punk and Hardcore. However, live performances are the main purpose of Drom's existence. During its existence, the collective gave concerts practically all over Europe, jumping ahead of the Belgian Amenra and the British Tragedy, and also presented its music at festivals such as Brutal Assault, Fluff Fest, Polish Asymmetry, documentary film festival AFO or film festival LFŠ Uherské Hradiště, where accompanied a set of silent films with a special live set. In addition, the band often addresses unpleasant societal topics on their recordings. Whether it was the concentration camp in Lety u Písku, the life story of the Ukrainian anarchist Nestor Makhno or the speed with which humanity is destroying its planet. Sharing ideas, meeting each other, common passion and friendship. Life is a journey. Drom is the journey.
