Reunited once again, the highly hyperproductive team from Zadar's Alergija continues onward. Their fourth single, along with an accompanying video for the song "Novi počeci" arrived. With their first single "Krv i znoj" they ended a 14-year hiatus and announced their return to the scene. With the second single, "Dobar stari punk" they gathered legends Valter Kocijančić and Davorin Bogović, fulfilling one of their youthful dreams by recording a song with their idols. The third single, "Šupak" served as a reminder of their rebellious punk roots.
The song "Novi počeci" is a nihilistic song about almost every one of us. Each of us, sometimes or more often, feels lonely and alienated, thinking that everything they do is wrong, wanting to change it, but after several attempts, they give up because they feel tired and empty. Absurdity and apathy can be felt in every scene of the video, and the premiere itself was on a symbolic day for the punk community, February 2nd. This is the day legendary Sid Vicious passed away, whose Sex Pistols often encouraged societal reflection and contemplation on the meaning of life in their lyrics, in their characteristic provocative manner.

The lyrics and music were written by Pero Kožul, arranged by Alergija, produced by Leo Anđelković, and recorded at the "Jura" sound studio. The video director is Vladimir Miketa, with assistant Mateo Grginović, camera assistant Vice Rončević, and post-production by VMC video production. The actor in the video is Mate Ivić, alongside members of Alergija, with makeup by Leonarda Juričić.
Formed in 1994, Alergija hails from Zadar, bringing their well-known sound of street punk rock that has been going strong for almost 30 years. With their first self-titled album "Alergija" they secured their place on the Croatian punk map. With the help of that momentum, in 1997, they produced the legendary oi/street punk album of these regions, "Četvrti stalež" which cemented the band's place in the premier league of the punk scene in the region! Hiatuses and life challenges prevented more releases from this band, but they managed to release another album in 2009 titled "Globalno zatoopljenje" from which we received several of their eternal anthems.
This Dalmatian street punk band, known for its catchy choruses and social engagement, with its fierce punk rock foundations, guarantees always good fun and group singing with significant messages! The band members are Stipe Bujas (vocals), Pero Kožul (guitar and vocals), Stipe Krpina (bass guitar and vocals), and Zvonko Kosović (drums and vocals).
With their fourth single, "Novi počeci" Alergija continues to work on their new studio album, which will soon be released by PDV Records, eagerly awaited as we listen to both old and new hits in the meantime!
