Bella Technika (ex-Darkwood Dub), first full-length 'Section' is out

Bella Technika was founded in 2016. by the authors Bojan Drobac - Bambi and Milorad Ristić - Miki who engaged the opera singer Katarina Jovanović for the purpose of taking on the vocal duties. Their first full-length titled Section was created and kept secret for almost 2 years! The album is now available in LP/CD/Digital formats. This is the first cooperation of the new label Bravo Boys (sublabel of Odličan hrčak) and PDV Records.

Section is inspired by the fusion of diverse influences such as early electronic, and dance music combined with psychedelic rock, pop, and dub of the '80s with an obsession with rare instruments. The album was recorded in Belgrade under the leadership of Bojan Drobac and Milorad Ristić. Seth Manchester (The Body, Daughters, Javelin) and Grammy Award winner Emery Dobyns (Suzanne Vega, Patti Smith, Antony & The Johnsons, Battles, Travis) were in charge of mix and co-production in the Machines with Magnets studio (Providence, RI, USA ). Mastering was done by Jon Lemon, known for working with names such as Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Jennifer Lopez, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, etc. The visual solution of the cover was made by Bambi with Dave Konopka (bassist and art director of the Battles, and according to the reputable magazine Pitchfork one of the more important artists of today). In addition to the band members, the band featured distinguished guests from the country and abroad: Sonja Lončar (keyboards), Filip Krumes (violin), Emery Dobyns (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Sam Dixon (guitar), Seth Manchester (bass guitar, keyboards ).
