Marko Mihalinec, known by his artistic name Plazmatick, is a long-time electronic music producer based in Zagreb. His music can be described as a charming and timeless blend of jazz, bass and drums, breakbeat, trip-hop, dubstep, organic and electronic sounds, ambient, and film music. Regarding his upcoming album "Fionna" (PDV078), he describes it as his most cheerful one yet, guided by the idea of "less talk, more dancing". We're celebrating the future and eagerly awaiting this new release!

In May 2024, the album announcement kicked off with the single "Južina", which recently won the Elector Award, along with a music video that bridges the past and the future in a meditative nighttime atmosphere. Before the official release on March 21st, another single and an accompanying video will premiere; "Sara i Daro", set to be released on March 7th at noon.
The video was created by the film collective Plan9, featuring Sara Žibrat and Kristijan Paal, with Darjan Kaučič handling all other aspects.

About the new album, Marko says: "For the first time, I'm exploring happiness, positivity, and joy through an album. 'Fionna' features short, direct tracks with no long intros or outros. It's highly body-moving, and towards the end, it gets a little sensual too."
Mastering was done by Thaddeus Moore (Liquidmastering), and the cover design is by Dizajn studio Mihalinec.
With "Fionna, Plazmatick continues his exploration of contemporary electronic genres, bringing fresh sounds to the local music scene. That’s why we’re looking forward to March 21st, the first day of spring, when the album will finally be released digitally and on vinyl.
