Three years after its first self-titled and sold-out release, ABOP is delivering a new LP △ (aka Delta). Several years in the making, new tracks were debuted, tested and rearranged in front of the audience (a common practice among DJs which ABOP musicians adopted.) △ will be released on Nov 30th, 2019 by PDV, one of the most prolific regional indie record labels. Album will be available on vinyl, CD and as a digital release, in all relevant streaming and download stores. △ was announced in 2018 following the release of the band’s first video for the song Right Now. The music video was made as a stop motion animation, directed by Katrin Novakovic. ABOP’s light designer Andrija Santro (Bamwise) was in charge of the lighting. The video was featured in numerous animated film festivals and music video festivals: the most famous one being Berlin Music Video Awards 2019 where the band performed.
After the EP release in 2016 and a spectacular promo party in Zagreb, the band went on a European tour. ABOP is a band that has many miles under its belt – they played in Austria, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, France, Czech Republic, and Bulgaria. ABOP played major regional festivals like EXIT, Dimensions, and Terraneo, but also numerous clubs where the vibe is more intense. ABOP consists of two drummers Ivan Levacic (ELEVEN, Kries, Chui) and Ivan Vodopijec (Elemental), bass player Erol Zejnilovic (Elemental, Kries), Ivan Bozanic (Pips. Chips & Videoclips) on digital synths and Bogumil Kulaga on analog and digital synths. Album was mixed and mastered by Croatian techno trailblazer Petar Dundov in Neumatik Studio.
