Sirup's solemn farewell with a triple vinyl compilation

Club Sirup started operating on January 1, 2009, at the address Donje Svetice 40 in Zagreb. The owners and initiators of the Sirup club are a sweet married couple Sergej (aka Sergej Snooze), and Olga (aka Olja), artistic director, with the wholehearted help of Pytzek and Felver in the position of booker, expert advice from Petar Dundov, and leaders Krešo, Dija, Vinka and Frane .

As a club focused on electronic production, Sirup has taken Zagreb clubbing (and domestic in general) to a higher level, in parallel with current European and world trends. After 4 years at Svetice (2009-2013), the last 3 years (ending in 2016), Sirup functioned in the former Paromlin, with Arsen Pavešić as the club's manager in the last half decade of work at both addresses, and cooperation with With a positive rhythm in the last phase.

The list of names that have appeared during the years of the club's work is impressive, apart from the domestic scene, which was well represented and profiled, the program regularly included guest appearances of world-famous and anthological names such as: Andrew Weatherhall, Fred P, Ivan Smagghe, Daniel Bell, James Holden, Jamie Jones, Jeniffer Cardini, Technasia, KiNK, Justin Martin, Legowelt, Terence Fixmer, Luke Slater, Luomo, Kenny Larkin, Juan McClean, Craig Richards, LoSoul, Mr C, Seth Troxler , Steffi, Efdemin, Miss Fitz, Moritz Von Oswald, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Dax J, Shed, Sonja Moonear, B. Traits, The Analogue Cops,...

And as all that is beautiful sometimes comes to an end, so the time has come to say goodbye forever to the legacy of a favorite club, through a triple vinyl compilation of producers from the domestic scene.

As editors of the compilation, the initiative was launched by Jan Kinčl and Nenad Barić (aka Funk Guru), in the isolation era of the current pandemic in early spring this year, further motivated by the aftermath of the Zagreb earthquakes, resulting in a triple album called: Sweet Sounds of Sirup - Healing Sounds of Zagreb Earthquakes 2020

The compilation album contains exclusive compositions, created exclusively for this occasion, and the complete list of performers will be published soon.

Dedication to Syrup will be published through a series of 3 vinyl releases, in the period from April to December 2021, accompanied by digital formats (download / stream).

And that's not all! Everyone who (buys) all 3 editions deserves the Box in which they can be placed, and thus completes the visual packaging of the edition, at the same time deserving of the book about Syrup, which will be available as a separate printed edition.

The release of the first LP of the compilation is planned for April 2021, an announcement single and pre-order at the beginning of the year, and a month before the release a crowdfunding campaign will be launched to help raise funds for this demanding and ambitious project.

Stay tuned, support the scene & rave on!
